The Academy has welcomed students since it was established in July 1969. From the early days the tradition of education in the field of fashion has grown from one of regional and national pride, to that of an international status with students embarking from all corners of the globe.

If you make the London Academy your choice, you look forward to the Academy's tradition of excellence, as all students are given individual and personal tuition, for students 18 years of age and above, the Academy will train you to your own individual requirements, offering more courses than most other fashion colleges. We specialise in practical dressmaking and designing skills, teaching the technical aspects of cutting fitting and finishing garments, enabling students to acquire the necessary abilities to produce fashionable clothing of their choice. Students with little or no previous experience can within three weeks of commencing complete a garment to the standard they can proudly wear.

From a choice of approximately 50 fashion courses, covering Basic to Advance Designing from children's to adults as well as short to long courses, you will find that the Academy has a flexible course structure to ensure a suitable programme to suit your own interests, aspirations and time.
