to the length of course chosen. To form a pattern/design the
student has to drape and pin material on a dressform. All designs
are chosen by the student. Students attending a course in Draping

| BEAD EMBROIDERY |
The sample is made up of 14 different designs.
Designs are embroidered on material with beads of different

lessons may embroider their own garments.

| LACE APPLIQUE |
Design, cut,
fit and sew garment. Appliqué designs are created by
laying lace over any material, embroidered with satin or zig
zag stitch. Material is then cut out from under lace to expose
floral design of lace. Coloured material can also be used.
Appliqué designs can also be created with plain or
floral material by using cut work embroidery stitches. Bead
embroidery students can also create designs by adding beads
to their embroidery. Block patterns to be provided by students
for garment designs. |
